3D Printing
I have been a 3D printing hobbyist since 2018, when I got my first machine, a Creality CR-10s. I have since expanded to both FDM and SLA printers, and my favourite machine I currently use is my Elegoo Neptune 3 Plus.
While I originally got into the hobby for the recreational reason of recreating props from movies, I have since expanded my skill set into a more technical one that has direct application to my future career in engineering, such as rapid prototyping and custom fabrication.

Reading
Over the past few years, I have rediscovered my childhood love of reading. I try to make as much time for it as possible, and intake a wide breadth of subjects. As a consequence of my studies, I read quite a healthy amount of books on math and sciences. But to be true, my favourite subject is the nautical history of the world. I am particularly partial to topics in the Age of Sail.
In addition to traditional books, I also greatly enjoy comic books. Some of my favourites are the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, and Spider-Man.
Fine Dining
While not in class, I moonlight as a server & bartender at a local fine dining restaurant, Sullivan’s Steakhouse.

Restaurants such as mine live or die by their team’s ability to coexist, and working here has taught me a great deal on that front. As one of a select few server captains at my restaurant, I oversee the service of private events on a weekly basis. This responsibility necessitates leading a team of 2-6 colleagues and coordinating their efforts to deliver exceptional service to our guests.
Disney College Program
In the Spring of 2019, I was accepted to take part in the Disney College Program as a custodial Cast Member in EPCOT's World Showcase. For this, I underwent an incredibly competitive application process, which boasts a <20% acceptance rate.

This experience remains a cornerstone of my college experience. Not only did I interact with individuals from every corner of the world, both coworkers and guests, but it was also my first foray into operating in a rigidly-structured corporate environment. I have held every subsequent employment to the same standards I shown to me by the Walt Disney Company.
